The ColdTainer is constructed as a polyethylene single body during the rotational molding process. This creates a tough, durable container that lasts year after year.
ColdTainer insulation is made of thick polyurethane foam. Its single body construction allows for thicker, more robust insulation for precise temperature control.
Coldtainer requires 12V (some models also 24V) power supply from a vehicle or autonomous battery. All models can be powered via a wall outlet (110-volt) with autonomous options available.
The technology and the materials used to manufacture and power the Coldtainer are energy efficient and eco-friendly.
Coldtainer refrigerated containers do not require a van liner install or a refrigerated van build. They are easy to load/unload, allowing the unit to be easily removed from the vehicle.
ColdTainer polyethylene containers are made with food safe material, and do not have internal joints or edges. Cleaning is eased and in line with the HACCP regulations against contamination risks.
The battery backup system is charged via a wall outlet allows for easy transportation and movement of product. Battery systems can keep product to temperature over the road or onsite.
The power supply via power grid allows the pre-cooling of the container before its use and the possible storage of the goods on board during the stops of the vehicle in warehouse.
The operating data can be displayed on the smartphone and, if necessary, exported in graphic form through the optional EVlink module with Bluetooth interface.
